The coffee manufacturing plant "Melna Kafija" is located in "Vecsili", in the district of Kekava.
- We are in coffee business since 1996 and currently are one of the biggest and most advanced factories in the Baltic States.
- The companie's current name was registred in 2006.
- Since autumn 2010 we are a part of Lofbergs Lila Group (Sweden).
Two BRAMBATI (Italy) coffee roasters have been installed at the plant.
Our coffee is grounded in BRAMBATI coffee grinder, where the three stage grinding coarseness regulation system secures production of proper ground coffee for brewing in both coffee and espresso machines, or for preparation in a cup or in French-press.
We pack our coffee using:
- ROBERT BOSCH coffee packaging equipment with the so-called "soft vacuum" method
- OPEM vacuum packaging equipment
QUALITY
The company produces natural coffee and elaborates coffee blends. Sample tasting of each party of coffee samples are conducted at the company’s technological laboratory where the coffee is tested to ensure that it adheres to the standards and recipes specified by the company's coffee experts.
